21-22-23 March, Thallo Web Offset Solutions Showcase for flexible packaging and label printing with Uteco flexo unit Crystal SIL at DG press ServiceS in Netherlands. 

During the Open House a 7 colors Offset/ Hybrid 850 Contiweb Thallo machine with two Flexo Crystal SIL units was shown. The press is equipped with UV and EB curing system and with full automatic offset/flexo sleeve technology.  
Customers, prospects and other business relations from all over the world were able to witness the many benefits and cost-efficiencies of the Contiweb Thallo web offset printing process during two press demonstrations, one focused on flexible packaging and the second on label printing.

The flexo units type Crystal in line to offset Contiweb Thallo have been supplied by Uteco Group based in Colognola ai Colli, Verona, worldwide leader for flexographic and rotogravure  printing with solvent/water base inks, but as well as EB green technology, UV LED, digital printing tested  with the most important Food & Beverage and Healthcare Brand owners. Uteco is a global player also in the development of coating and laminating technologies related to other sectors, like Nanotechnologies, Aerospace, Security, Sanitary and printed electronics.
On March 15th 2017, Contiweb, together with the partner DG press ServiceS, have announced that De La Rue, the world’s largest commercial printer of banknotes and identity documents, have confirmed an order for a Thallo printing press. The Contiweb Thallo press which will be installed in Malta at De La Rue Centre of Excellence for Identity and Security Print, will be equipped with a flexo unit Crystal SIL Hybrid hot air and UV.

As latest sales references of Contiweb Thallo machine with in line Uteco units, we can mention some presses installed in Europe, one in Russia and an upgrade on offset VSOP for TetraPak in USA.
