Fresh liquid packaging (Gable top)

Uteco has great capabilities across the converting process for manufacturing the Fresh liquid packaging, especially for the printing part.

Process Type is Reel-to-Sheet: BUTT-TO-BUTT UNWINDING + PRINTING ON PAPERBOARD + CREASING & PUNCHING + SHEETER

Uteco has long-standing know-how for in line combinations of flexo and roto machineries to print on paper and paperboard with special equipment such as Creasing & Punching, Sheeters and butt-to-butt Unwinders. Paperboard and Paper are first coated with extruded PE.

Fresh Liquid Packaging is usually printed with solvent-based inks or UV inks, flexo printing technology and wide web materials, up to 1000mm.

Aseptic Liquid Packaging

Uteco has long-standing know-how for in line combinations of flexo and roto machineries to print on paper and paperboard with special equipment such as Creasing & Punching and butt-to-butt Unwinders.

Aseptic Liquid Packaging is usually printed with water-based ink, flexo printing technology and wide web materials, up to 1700mm.

This system allows the preparation of the unused color elements while the machine is printing, seeks a strong reduction in set-up times and an increase in productivity.

The exclusive direct transmission between the main engine of the machine and the central drum allows to obtain very high precision of constant and continuous printing over time, total absence of maintenance, silent operation and energy saving.

The Uteco patent "Thermilox®" system is applied to flexographic printing that uses UV or EB inks and guarantees accurate and continuous control of the ink temperature during printing. The advantages: constant maintenance of the viscosity of the inks and absence of overheating of the cliché which thus avoids deformation.

It is the Automatic Adjustment of the Printing Pressures. It allows you to perform color reading and pressure adjustment in real time during the job start-up phase, to use any type of printing plate and sleeve and to minimize material waste.

This design, consisting of a double prismatic guide system, guarantees great qualitative advantages during the printing phase, such as the great rigidity of the single color element, the absolute stability of the printing process and the constant quality of the result even at high speeds.

It is the innovative Uteco automatic and modular washing system. It allows you to wash all the color units at the same time and reduce downtime during job changes. It is compatible with the solvent recovery system.

It is the innovative automatic robotic system that allows the automatic transport of the printed reels and the preparation of the core on the winder shaft for the subsequent slitting operation. The result: fast return on investment thanks to a reduction in manual operations.
