SapphireLUCE

SapphireLUCE is FlexCA and Uteco’s new Digital Hybrid Printing Machine, with UV low migration ink, designed to be compact, efficient and competitive for Ultra Short and Short Runs.

SapphireLUCE is available with a maximum printing width of 1320mm and reaches up to 150 mpm of printing speed with max. resolution up to 1200x1200 DPI.

The printing engine system is co-developed with SmartJet s.r.l, part of the FlexCA and it features 4 colors (CMYK) + White as option. Our digital printing engine is equipped with top-notch digital technology for:

High resolution
High fire frequency
Compatibility with all Ink types

The system is Hardware Independent, meaning we can integrate every type of digital printing-heads. The drying system is very powerful thanks to advanced UV Curing Lamps.

SapphireLUCE can be integrated with our down-stream units for White or other Solid Colors and/or Finishing Printing Applications.

Application of uniform OPV or white color laydown

The machine guarantees a fast time-to-market thanks to its 150 mpm printing speed, maximum material width of 1350mm.

Digital printing is the cheapest technology compared to flexo and roto, in short and ultra-short runs.

Product Versioning (similar packaging with high variability of printing details). Possibility to print with high variability in data with limited interruption of the productions.

The digital motor is located at the bottom for easy machine operation and routine maintenance.

Post-Print Processing

Uteco ink was developed with the intention of being compatible with all post-printing processes.
